SMS Opt-In Capture — Example

iTech Home Solutions, Inc. dba CreoleCentric · Last updated November 2026

Our Clinic Platform campaign uses a single opt-in path: verbal consent during an inbound phone call to a CreoleCentric-powered clinic. There is no web form, no pop-up, no mobile app, no QR code, and no third-party source. Below is the verbatim consent utterance used by the production voice agent, a representative transcript of the consent moment, and samples of each SMS the platform may send after an affirmative verbal yes. The full written policy is at /sms-consent-policy.

1. The verbatim consent script

Spoken by the production voice agent immediately before any SMS is dispatched. This exact wording is enforced server-side in the prompt-assembly layer; it cannot be bypassed.

"I'll send a confirmation text, a reminder the day before, and occasional updates from the clinic to the number you're calling from. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Our SMS policy is at creolecentric.com/sms-consent-policy. Is that OK?"

2. Transcript of the consent moment

Captured on an inbound call to a CreoleCentric-powered clinic line. Patient-identifying details have been replaced with representative examples. The full verbatim exchange is persisted in CreoleCentric's AgentSession and AgentTurn database records and (when the clinic has enabled call recording) in the audio recording as well.

4. What this proves

  • Business identity: iTech Home Solutions, Inc. dba CreoleCentric. The entity sending SMS is the entity named in the campaign brand.
  • Single opt-in method: explicit verbal consent on an inbound call. No web form, no mobile app, no QR code, no third-party source. A single affirmative verbal yes authorizes the full set of SMS the clinic may send to the caller.
  • Message types: appointment confirmation, reschedule confirmation, cancel confirmation, directions (only on explicit request), day-before reminder, and occasional clinic-initiated updates from the same clinic (seasonal reminders, new-service announcements, hours changes, walk-in availability). All messages originate from the clinic the caller consented to; never from an affiliate or third party.
  • Frequency: typically 1 to 3 SMS per booking, plus no more than one or two clinic-initiated updates per quarter. No recurring daily broadcasts.
  • Opt-out: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, CANCEL, QUIT (case-insensitive) immediately halt all outbound SMS to that number. HELP returns a contact phone and a link to this policy.
  • Cost disclosure: "Msg & data rates may apply" appears in every outbound SMS and is also spoken during the verbal consent utterance.
  • Privacy: mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our full privacy policy is at /legal/privacy.

5. Record retention and audit

Transcripts of every voice-agent turn — including the specific consent utterance above — are persisted in CreoleCentric's AgentSession and AgentTurn database records. When call recording is enabled on the clinic's agent configuration, the audio recording is also persisted. These records are retained per the clinic's configured policy and are available for carrier audit on request to [email protected].
